The Music Of Cream Tour 2020: The Music of Cream have announced a 2020 tour, on which they will perform the hit Cream album Disraeli Gears in full, as well as some additional Cream, Blind Faith and Eric Clapton cuts. The Music of Cream consists of Kofi Baker (Ginger Baker’s son), Malcolm Bruce (Jack Bruce’s son) and Will Johns (Eric Clapton’s nephew). The tour will feature footage of the trio’s musical mentors, alongside the performances from the group.
Disraeli Gears, released in 1967, was a landmark release for the band showcasing their signature songwriting style and musicality. It was a breakthrough hit for the band, and going platinum in the US and finding itself on countless ‘greatest album of all time’ lists.
The Music of Cream first hit the road with their 50th anniversary tour in 2020, and are currently completing a run of UK dates. The newly-annoucned 2020 leg of their tour will begin in Victoria, British Columbia on 28 February and end in Glenside, Pennsylvania, on 10 April.

Cream tribute band The Music Of Cream announced their 2020 Disraeli Gears North American Tour. The band — featuring Eric Clapton’s nephew Will Johns, Jack Bruce’s son Malcolm Bruce and Ginger Baker’s son Kofi Baker — will hit the road for a 40-date tour throughout the U.S. and Canada performing Cream’s groundbreaking 1967 album Disraeli Gears in its entirety along with additional hits and rarities from Cream, Clapton and Blind Faith.
“To follow our 50th Anniversary Tour, it was a no-brainer to go out and celebrate Disraeli Gears in its entirety,” Kofi Baker said in a statement.
“That we can interpret such groundbreaking music and continue to tell Cream’s story is as exciting for us as we know it was for the band when they recorded it all those years ago,” said Will Johns.
Malcolm Bruce added, “Many of Cream’s best-known songs are on the record including ‘Sunshine of Your Love,’ ‘Strange Brew’ and ‘SWLABR.’
The tour kicks off on February 28 in Victoria, British Columbia and will continue with stops in Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, Santa Barbara, San Diego, Phoenix, Boulder, Baton Rouge, Fort Lauderdale, Birmingham, Atlanta, Annapolis, Long Island, Boston, Toronto, Chicago, Milwaukee, Omaha and more. The run will wrap up on May 3 in Austin.
