Steely Dan, Steve Winwood reschedule joint tour
Instead of teaming up again in 2021, Donald Fagen’s Steely Dan and Steve Winwood have announced they’ve moved their latest co-headlining tour over to 2022. Their Earth After Hours tour now kicks off May 20th in Portland and runs into July hitting cities like Los Angeles, Phoenix, Austin, Atlanta, Cincinnati, Wantagh and Holmdel. Back in 2016, the same two acts joined forces during another major 23-city tour across America.
Steely Dan spent the early part of 2019 hosting another Las Vegas residency at the Venetian Theater after joining forces with The Doobie Brothers the prior year during a massive co-headlining tour. Prior to co-founder Walter Becker’s death in 2017, the group embarked on their Rockabye Gollie Angel Tour in 2015 with special guests Elvis Costello and the Imposters. Becker and Fagen were both inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame back in 2001 and have sold more than 40 million albums worldwide.
