MARC ANTHONY TOUR 2021
Marc Anthony Tour 2021 :Am I the only one who gets a little bothered when people talk about “Jennifer Lopez’s ex-husband” as if Marc Anthony hasn’t had his own incredibly successful career? In fact, with all due respect to J Lo — I love her and consider her la mamá, and her performances are out of this world — Marc Anthony is the bigger deal, at least among Latinx.
His songs make you dance, his voice makes you all warm and fuzzy inside, his shows are the most fun you’ll have, and por si fuera poco, his Maestro Cares foundation improves the quality of life for orphaned and disadvantaged children in Latin America and the United States. These are just a few of the reasons why he was honored with the International Artist Award of Excellence at the Latin American Music Awards last night.
This is the first year the Latin AMAs presented this award, given to artists who turn the world around with their greatness, crossing over language, race, or religion. Their nationality has no borders; they stand for peace, and their songs reverberate as musical anthems.
To prove the artist that he is, after accepting his award, he thanked his family, especially his kids, for allowing him to do the thing he loves the most, and dedicated his award to “his brother” José José, who passed away in late September.

He then proceeded to perform a very touching rendition of José José’s classic “Almohada,” with so much soul in his voice that it’s almost impossible not to be moved. After the performance, he placed the microphone on the floor, as one last tribute.
But that wasn’t it for Marc. During the course of the night, he went on to win Favorite Tropical Song for “Adicto,” his collaboration with Prince Royce, and then took the stage again to present his new song, “Lo Que te Di,” an upbeat salsa that had everyone up on their feet.
