Jesca Hoop Tour 2020:Folk rock musician, feminist and activist, Ani DiFranco has announced her Winter 2020 tour starting Feb. 7, with Jesca Hoop. DiFranco is popularly recognized for her benefit concerts and lending her platform to represent various social issues and movements, such as women’s rights, lgbtq+ rights and racism.

Earlier last year, DiFranco promoted women’s reproductive rights through her live performance of  “Play God.” The song is featured on her nineteenth album, Binary, which was released in 2017. The song was released as a tribute to those whom were directed affected by the anti-abortion legislation that was introduced and passed in Alabama and Ohio.

DiFranco also recently played at the Eaux Claires Festival in late November alongside Jon Hokins and Justin Vernon. The festival was held in Eau Claire, WI to a select crowed, as there were only 500 tickets available for purchase at the time.


Sam Beam and Jesca Hoop are American folk and folk rock singer-songwriters.

Sam Beam is better known by his stage name Iron & Wine, and has released five albums, the latest being 2015’s ‘Sing into My Mouth’ with Ben Bridwell. Jessca Hoop has released four albums, the last being ‘Undress’, in 2014. The pair have joined together for the duets album, ‘Love Letter for Fire’, which will be released on April 15, 2016, via Sub Pop.
