Bob Dylan is an American singer-songwriter and musician from Duluth,
Minnesota. Starting his music career in 1959, he came up through the
American folk music revival scene and released tracks such as Blowin’ in
the Wind and The Times They Are a-Changin, which became anthems for the
American civil rights and antiwar movements.
He caused controversy in the folk scene in 1965, when he released his fifth album, ‘Bringing It All Back Home’, which featured electric instruments. The single Like a Rolling Stone, hit #2 in the Billboard Hot 200, with his critically acclaimed album, ‘Highway 61 Revisited’ being released in 1965, followed by ‘Blonde on Blonde’, in 1966.
